Greenough is a charming small town situated in a floodplain 400 kilometres north of Perth and 24 kilometres south of Geraldton on the Brand Highway.
Greenough offers fantastic nature-based activities such as bushwalking, fishing, bird watching and surfing, all accessed just in a 4-hour drive from Perth or 15 mins south of Geraldton.
Claimed to be the best-preserved 19th century town in Australia, there is plenty of history and heritage here: take a self-guided tour through the Central Greenough Historic Settlement.
For schooling, the nearest school is Walkaway Primary School just 4.5km away, then in nearby towns approx. 25km away you find Wandina Primary School, as well as Champion Bay Senior High School and Geraldton Senior High School.
