Australind is a water wonderland surrounded by water. It is bordered to the south by the Collie River, to the west by the Leschenault Estuary and to the east by the Brunswick River. With so much water, it’s obvious locals are never short of a place to go boating, sailing, windsurfing and fishing.

It is surrounded by natural parklands and conveniently located with all the services, facilities and amenities the modern Australian family needs.
Residents of Australind can enjoy all the attributes of living close to the coast, while being part of a connected community. There’s plenty to do to keep active – the local Australind Skate Park and Leschenault Leisure Centre are always popular with the children, and for the grown-ups there’s the 18-hole Bunbury Golf Club in Australind, which hosts the annual South West Open each June.
If you’re after water activities – fishing, crabbing and prawning are popular, with silver bream and whiting being the most caught. If you love a hike, a visit to Leschenault Peninsula Nature Reserve should be on the cards. Here you’ll get to admire the native flora and fauna such as kangaroos and black swans. The Australind Heritage Trail is another great walk down memory lane with important cottages, parks, cemeteries and churches on show.
