Ridgewood is approximately 36 kilometres from the Perth CBD and within the City of Wanneroo local government area. Ridgewood is primarily made up of single dwellings on blocks averaging around 500sqm, with the occasional duplex or battle axe block developments.

If parks don’t tickle your fancy, then Quinns Beach is only a 5-minute drive away, and Jindee Beach about 8 minutes’ drive.

High schools in the surrounding area include Clarkson Community Highschool, Alkimos Baptist College and Mindarie Senior College just to name a few.
The population of Ridgewood is 4,886 with a density of 2,750 persons per square km. The suburb is mainly populated with maturing and established couples and families, who combined, represent 37.2%, followed by young families at 12.3%.
