The name Wembley Downs originated from the name of the suburb’s major golf course – which still stands as a big attraction for those in the area and beyond.

For those looking at tertiary education, both UWA and the ECU Mount Lawley campus are extremely accessible from Wembley Downs and less than a 15-minute drive.
